Questions

Is Kition fig free?

Yes. Kition is open source under Apache-2.0 and the software is free. There are no personal subscriptions, memberships or ads; you only pay for AI compute if you choose hosted AI.

Can my AI agent use Kition fig?

Yes. Every Kition kit speaks the Kit Harness Protocol (KHP), so an agent can open a file, run commands such as frame.create, shape.rectangle, and save the result. MCP connects AI to tools; KHP lets AI operate professional software.

Which files does Kition fig work with?

Kition fig saves .kfig. It also opens .fig, .sketch, .svg.

Is Kition fig finished?

Not yet. Kition fig is in Preview: it works, but it is still being built and may change.
